College, Courses, Eligibility, Jobs, Salary in India

Chemical Engineering is a branch that applies physical and life sciences together with applied mathematics and economics to produce, transform, transport and properly use chemicals, materials and energy.
Chemical Engineers design large-scale processes that convert chemicals, raw materials, living cells, microorganisms and energy into useful forms and products. They are in great demand because of the large number of industries that depend only on the synthesis and processing of chemicals and materials. In addition to the traditional careers in chemical, energy and the oil industries, chemical engineers enjoy increasing opportunities in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
