Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering is a specialised branch of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, primarily focusing on the principles and operations of measuring instruments used in the design and configuration of automated systems.
Instrumentation technology helps create, construct and maintain measuring and control devices and systems found in manufacturing plants and research institutions. Instrumentation Engineering is the basis of mechatronics and robotics engineering. Its main objective is to ensure that systems and processes operate safely and efficiently.
The eligibility criteria for admissions to a bachelor’s course is 10+2 pass in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the core subjects. Students must go through the entrance exams such as GATE for admissions to B.Tech courses.
